The Day of Atonement

The Day of Atonement known as Yom Kippur in Hebrew.

On the Tenth Day of the Seventh Month on YaHWeH's Calendar is the Day of Atonement, a day of fasting.

Originally the Creator numbered the months.

The residue of the Creator's Calendar is still seen in the Gregorian calendar in the the months of September, October, November and December which are the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth months. Though it is out of sink with the Creators Calendar, you can still see the remains of what was the Creator's Calendar.

The Catholic religion took it upon themselves to change everything regarding the Creator's Calendar, except the seven day Week. Instead of starting the Day at sundown they changed it to start in the middle of the night. A complete day of 24 hours is from sundown to sundown.

When YaHUsha the Mashiach returns to take over all of this World's Governments, He will banish Shatan the devil and "his" demons to a place of restraint for One Thousand Years.

Originally on the Day of Atonement, the High Priest would take two kid goats before the Mercy Seat and would draw lots and one goat would be the sacrifice and the other a scapegoat. The goat the lot fell on for YaHWeH would be sacrificed as a sin offering. This goat represented the Mashiach who was sacrificed by His FATHER YaHWeH for the sin's of the people of this world. This sacrifice of the goat is the symbolic act of redemption. The first people to receive this redemption are those mentioned in [Heb. 11] which includes those in the last verses...

32. And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets.

33. Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.

34. Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

35. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection.

36. And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment.

37. They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented.

38. (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise.

40. YaHWeH having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

The "better resurrection" mentioned in [verse35] is the First Resurrection mentioned in [I Cor. 15:52] and [I Thess. 4:16-17] and since this is the FIRST there obviously is a "second", otherwise there wouldn't be any need to say FIRST if this is all there is.

These are the firstfruits, and the rest of humanity will receive their chance depicted by the last celebration called the Great White Throne Judgement, also known as the Last Great Day.

The other kid goat was taken before YaHWeH to make an atonement and hands were laid on him and all the sins of the people were laid on him as a scapegoat and was taken alive and released in the wilderness by a capable man.

All the sins of this world are due to the relentless efforts of Shatan the devil, and this scapegoat is used to show what this evil fallen creature has done. The releasing of this goat in the wilderness represents Shatan the devil being restrained in a place where "he" can't have access to humanity for One Thousand Years. The capable man represents the Arch Angel forcefully restraining Shatan and putting "him" where "he" can't have access to humans to cause them to sin.

The Feast of Tabernacles which starts on the 15th of the Seventh Month, represents the One Thousand Year Rule of Mashiach on this Earth where all things will be cleaned up and restored. It represents a time of plenty. Shatan is bound up and cannot thwart this restoration.

Between the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles will be the Wedding of the Assembly of "called out ones" who made themselves ready to marry the returned Mashiach. When the Groom and the Bride marry, they become at-one with each other and they will rule with the Groom on this Earth [Rev. 5:10] from Jerusalem, the Headquarters of YaHWeH's Government.

Revelation 5:10

10. And has made us unto our Elohim kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

The Day of Atonement is also the day of At-one-ment where the Groom and Bride are married in a Covenant.

The parable of the Ten Virgins in the New Covenant is about the Assembly of "called out ones". Half were foolish and didn't prepare for the wedding and five were wise and did prepare for the Wedding. Those who prepared, will be resurrected into immortality when the Groom returns represented by the Feast of Trumpets.

1 Corinthians 15:52

52. In a moment, as fast as it takes to wink, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised into immortality, and we shall be changed.

The Day of At-one-ment is a celebration when Shatan is bound and the Bride and Groom are married.

YaHWeH the Father of YaHUsha the Groom, chose each person personally [John 6:44], and of these chosen ones, only half will qualify to become the Bride.

Matthew 25:1-3

1. Then shall the Government of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them.

Of the Ten only half made it to be officials in the Government.

Matthew 22:14

14. For many are called, but few are chosen.

Next is the Feast of Tabernacles a celebration representing the rule of YaHUsha the Mashiach for One Thousand Years on this Earth. A time when there will be no wars and poverty, a time of plenty for everyone.
